!!! Video coming soon !!!

Welcome to Robbie's 'school' for those wishing to learn about real estate in Mexico. In the following pages you will see a series of 5 minute videos explaining how real estate works here in Mexico, what you should and shouldn’t do, and, you will be learning about some of the finer aspects of Mexican real estate, such as what is a ‘Fideicomiso’ and what exactly is ‘Ejido’ land. As well as watching the videos you can also read the transcripts (for those who still like to read).

My name is Robbie Stevenson, and I have been living in Mexico since 2006. I came to Mexico to escape the miserable weather in Scotland with the intention of teaching English and travelling the world. I moved to Puerto Vallarta in the summer of 2007, bought a condo and decided to get back into real estate. Real estate in Mexico can be complex. I bought a condo here before I started realting so I know the concerns and questions that people have when they come over here. I realized that the best way to address these concerns was to set up this 'school.' A convenient place where you can learn all about real estate here in Mexico.

In the past I spent ages sending attachments to clients which they in turn were either scared to open or once they did, they didn't read all the information. I could send you all sorts of information about real estate, which might take you a long time to read, or you could just watch some short videos that explain everything. There is a lot to take in! So, I have designed this series of short videos to briefly explain how real estate works in Mexico. Not all of these lessons may apply to you, for example if you aren't selling your home here then it is not necessary for you to attend lessons 17 through to 20. If you have no intention of renting your apartment then there is no need to attend lesson 22 etc...

If there is anything that you have difficulty understanding, or feel that I didn't explain it clearly enough or you would like some more information, by all means give me a call or send me an email and I'll hopefully be able to shed some light. I am always looking for feedback on ways to improve not only my site but the service I provide and welcome any comments.

So, continue to lesson 1 to start your edification of real estate in Mexico!
